Countess and Baron Clash Over Married Life
In a sharp duel of words the Countess and Baron vow never to let the other set foot on their domains after their spouses eloped. Their children, Ernest and Wilhelmina, are kept close as they grow up apart from the opposite sex. Ernest encounters Wilhelmina, a talking girl on horseback, and they exchange playful yet charged dialogue about humanity and desire.
