Mercer Memories of Dr McNutt and Princeton legacy
A family history recounts Dr. McNutt and kin, detailing their Princeton home which with wet blankets survived the 1862 burning, served as Union Army HQ and hospital, and remained in the family over 140 years before passing to Dr Robert Criddle and the Old Town Princeton Foundation. The article traces descendants, local roles, and the family’s long influence on Mercer County, ending with a notice to contact Jeff Harvey.
