Murder trial set for March in Thompson Valley shooting

Michael Edwards Miller 32 of Tazewell is charged with murder in the July 6 Thompson Valley shooting that left Michael Proffitt dead and two others wounded. A March 24 trial date was set after a defense request for a psychological evaluation. bond was denied and Miller remains jailed.
