Obituary: Squire Thornes H. White of Bluefield Dies
Squire Thornes H. White a longtime Beaver Pond district figure died at home yesterday after a yearlong decline. Born May 2 1884 near Oakvale he served as Beaver Pond justice of the peace and a member of Grace Methodist Church and the Odd Fellows. Survived by wife and children including Mrs W A Allen and Mrs O S Hager, the family also lists several siblings and relatives across Virginia and Pennsylvania with funeral plans to be announced.

Mrs. Hugh H. Humphrey, 48, of Liberty Tazewell county, died Tuesday night in an Abingdon Virginia hospital after an operation. She leaves husband H. H. Humphrey and four children Mra John Wittes Julia Sadie and Margaret Hien Humphrey, all of Liberty. Funeral at Liberty church this afternoon conducted by Pastor Ray Dr Wyrick burial in Humphrey cemetery.

Retired Lumberman Dies Suddenly on Tazewell Street
Alfred A. Flowers, 15, collapsed near the New Theater on Main Street in Tazewell. A retired lumberman from Parkersburg West Virginia, he had recently resided in Tazewell for about a month and was visiting his daughter Mrs H D Poole. He is survived by two sons Albert Flowers of Patterson New Jersey and Frank Flowers of Parkersburg. Burial and funeral services will be held in Parkersburg on Friday.

Murder charges in Ouija board fatal shooting in Arizona
Ernest J. Turley 47, a retired naval petty officer, was killed by his 15 year old daughter at a ranch near St. Jones.
