Young people of West minster Presbyterian church are asked to bring food for the poor Friday evening at 7 20. A Christmas program by the Sunday school is planned with Old Santa expected to attend.
In Grapefald Virginia, Mrs Carrie Burress announces the marriage of her daughter Flora Btt to Robert Hicks Wolfe of Grapefald. The ceremony occurred Wednesday December 12 at Princeon with Luther Wolfe as the sole witness. The bride wore gray satin and accessories. The Wolfes will reside with the groom's parents.
A Christmas tree event for Sunday school is set at the Mret Presbyterian church. Friday at 7 30 pm Mrs Hudging and Mrs More will lead the program and Santa Claus is promised to attend in person.

Mr and Mrs T Harlsock of College Avenue will leave later in the week for Clarkaburg for the holidays.
Charleston lawmakers consider giving bus drivers police powers to manage traffic around loading points. A violation carries a 6 to 25 dollar fine or up to 40 days imprisonment. Other bills set salaries for school staff and public workers.
Beaver High School will present a music program this morning at 10:80 featuring chorus and instrumental selections led by local artists Mrs Barrow Mrs C G Harrin and Miss Elizabeth McClauphy Jer LY. The Quota club hosts an Obypiat mas party at Alec's spottage room of Appalachian Electric Power Co tonight at 8. East River Daughter of America meets at Red Men’s hall 7:46. Women’s auxiliary high school junior choir will sing Christmas carols at First Presbyterian church this afternoon at 8, part of a ministerial fundraiser. North Sids Parent-Tedder Association holds a meeting this afternoon at 8 with a Christmas program.
Elizabeth Earnest Circle members from Bland Street Methodists hosted a gathering at the Y on Monday evening. Losing captains were Misa Margaret Jennings and Mrs Roby Groseclose, while winning captains were Miss Mary Lou Carr and Mrs H C Bradshaw. Mrs Roy Thompson led the session with song Joy to the World and offered opening prayer before financial reports.
Thirty-three members attended the gathering led by Miss Helen Spangler who organized the entertainment for the social year. The event featured festive Capalic gifts and conclude with fruit cake and hot punch.

Mr S J Chambers visits Berwen to spend Christmas with his mother Mrs Julia Brags. Mrs Vivian Putnam travels to Charleston responding to her mother Mrs C Norris illness.
