Rotary aids 22 elderly with free hearing devices
Rotary District 7550 volunteers and Starkey Foundation provided nearly $900 hearing aids to 22 area seniors who could not afford them. The Starkey Foundation covered most costs. local clubs fundraised to cover the remainder. Deliveries occurred Monday after Make A Difference Day, with Paine and audiologists present.

The Sanders House Center committee in Bluefield Va met at 534 Virginia Avenue Suite 103 to review fundraising progress. They noted Christmas slowdowns but reported over 170000 raised in under two months. Sally Hager won Jill Pritchett watercolor donated for the drive about 1500 raised.
