Bramwell Hearing Draws Officials Over Elementary Closure
Mercer County Board of Education schedules a public hearing at Bramwell Elementary School at 6 p.m. to discuss closing the school amid low enrollment. Mayor Molly Lohr-Robinette defends the tradition and teachers while Angela Reed and many residents urge careful consideration. Superintendent Deborah Akers notes options and says a board vote at the Mercer County Technical Education Center will determine next year’s fate.
