Man Charged With Cashing Stolen Check in Princeton
A 27-year-old Princeton man, Michael Stupalsky, is jailed after being charged with uttering a forged check. He allegedly cashed a stolen check from a Bluefield resident. He was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ernest R. Six and remanded on $500 bond, with other charges pending. Chief Deputy Keith Hare and Sgt. R.E. Baughman investigated.

Truck Stolen From Holiday Inn Parking Lot
Mercer County Sheriff's Department reports the theft of a 1975 Freight Liner tractor attached to a 40-foot Ravens trailer valued at $50,000. Owned by Fred Jones of Dayton Ohio, the rig was taken between 4:30 p.m. Monday and 5:10 p.m. Tuesday from Oakvale Road. The trailer was empty and both cab doors bear the name Easer. The tractor bears an Ohio plate. trailer has a Michigan plate. Jones says the truck may have a leaking water pump and could be in the area for repairs. The case is with the Criminal Investigation Division.
