CIA says North misled agency in 1985 shipment

The CIA told Congress that Lt. Col. Oliver North persuaded the agency to aid a 1985 arms shipment to Iran by giving a midlevel employee misleading details about the cargo. Tazewell official reports expenses reimbursed by county officials

County Administrator Randy Arno said all personal expenses by supervisors on out-of-town trips were reimbursed by December 1. Checks show Hudson Huffard paid 788, Joe Peery 654, and Troy W Absher 677, with other personal costs including beverages and golf.
