The Shawnee Parkway Association festival is set for Sept 3 at Lake Shawnee Pavilion. The 27th Mountain Music Festival runs Sept 11 to 13 at the Appalachian South Folklife Center in Pipestine. Preventive health and fitness center planned at PCH Princeton
Princeton Community Hospital plans a roughly 2.5 million preventive health and fitness center to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce heart disease and cancer. The facility would house classrooms, exercise testing equipment, a lap pool, running track, cardiovascular gear, and aerobics studios across from the emergency room to serve patients and employees. A feasibility study is underway to determine size and programs needed.
