The Labor convention at Bramwell named a full slate for local offices and postponed a congressional candidate nomination until the senatorial convention in Athens on the 30th. L. B. Farley was selected for county clerk with H. G. White as deputy, and J. H. Wright, Jesse D. Daniel, F. B. Knight, Granville Houchins, George B. Martin, and Felix Hill were named for various posts. John Nugent, Jesse Daniels, and J. L. McGalliard spoke outside as the meeting ran in the Odd Fellows hall.
