Town of Mullend Endures New Fire in Saved District
News from Mullend reports a second blaze late night confined to the district saved from a December fire. Mul loin Storeware and Furniture Co, Bell Mays general store, Bank of Wyoming, K Lowe Grocery, and two poor rooms burned with several homes at risk. Early estimates put losses around 77000 with most structures insured. Firefighting efforts were hampered as the flames spread through the protected area.
