Assault and other charges inked in Princeton blotter
Police blotter reports multiple arrests on August 3 and 4 in Princeton and surrounding areas. Christopher Petry faces assault and trespass charges, Rex Runyon charged with domestic violence and other offenses, and Dennis Hudgins on a bench warrant. A 17 year old and 5 year old were reported runaways, plus counterfeit money and various minor incidents involving disputes and disturbances.

Tazewell County Sheriff’s updates July 27 to Aug 3
Deputies issued 13 traffic tickets and handled two traffic accidents. They made 50 arrests on various charges and served 287 civil papers. Transported inmates covered 1 977 miles to penitent iaries and other sites. Responded to 185 calls. Inmates supervised collected 320 trash bags and worked 472 hours. The jail housed 162 inmates that week.
