Death notices for Dr Philip H Dunn and infant Clarence Sackett
Dr Philip H Dunn died at his sister’s Niantic home Friday night after a long illness of consumption. Funeral at Niantic Catholic church and burial in Illiopolis. He was born Feb 14 1861 near Greenfield and practiced veterinary surgery in Illinois. Clarence Sackett, 17 months, son of Mr and Mrs Reuben Sackett near Blue Mound, died March 15 from multiple diseases. burial at Waltz cemetery. Train changes last week altered St. Louis to 8:35 p.m. arrivals. Blue Mound now sees five arrivals and four departures daily.
