Settler Dead in Mt Zion at Age Eighty Three
Baxter W. Davidson who arrived from Kentucky in 1830 died at his Mt. Zion home Monday evening at the age of eighty three. He was a respected member of the C P church and the L O C F. organization. Mrs Mellie Hurst and Mrs M K Hardin have purchased the Elliott hotel fixtures and goodwill and will assume operation next month, aiming to maintain the establishment’s strong reputation.
