After the ceremony the couple and attendants traveled to the Gerbaz home.
Newlyweds, a Greene County couple, married at Deal Ranch and hosted a sumptuous wedding supper before driving to their furnished home in Watson. The bride, 21, is well known locally. the groom, 24, is a Colorado State Agricultural College graduate and Watson postmaster.

On Halloween night Guy H. Humphreys shot Max Kidd in his home after Kidd entered the unlocked door seeking burglary. Kidd, a son of County Auditor Geo E Kidd, was wounded with two bullets and remained under care at Dr Cravens office. Luther Ramsey is charged as an accessory in the case and burglary waves through Bloomfield as youths form rival gangs.
A call to patrons to buy bread and pies from the home Sanitary Bakery emphasizes supporting local business over out-of-town firms highlighting neighborhood pride and relief for local bakers.
Merritt Owen, pastor, urges a united Sunday school day next Sunday with about a thousand participants in Bloomfield. Morning services at 10:30 and 9:30 start times set, no C E or evening Christian church service, union service at the M E church featuring Rev A W Conner on the Boy Friend Campaign. Owen delays Furnace church preaching to the following week.
