Children’s Day at Solsberry 1891 Recital and Festivities

Children from Solsberry and nearby areas gathered at the church on June 21 1891 for Children’s Day. The program featured a processional, organ music, prayers, readings by Miss Lillie Edwards and performances by the Pearl Gatherers and the infant class. Jasper Holteclaw led the event with help from local citizens, highlighting decorations and a successful collection for the cause.
