Factories in New England and Georgia would join under one Baltimore office to coordinate finances and raw material purchases, with claimed savings of $100,000 to $200,000 annually.
June 23 1888 in Rudtan Grsten Wisconsin Jewn Fowler of Williams Richland county confessed involvement in the murder of Reuben Dratte his wife and two grandchildren. Fowler implicates Jeff Bowser and Elijah Carey who were under bartmen at the time. Nearby violence feared as confessions spread.
