In Henley action Cornell battles Leander and Trinity Hall amid anti American sentiment. The Leanders denounce Cornell for the umpire’s decision as Trinity Hall takes the race. Immense crowd of American supporters, McCornell crew collapses, and Cornell finishes trailing while Trinity Hall celebrates. Meantime Grand Rapids news reports Levi Pierce murder case with mother May Pierce and grandson George Keesler jailed for examination.
