Big Timber Wins State Firemen’s Convention Host
The Montana State Firemen's association wrapped a four day Havre session with Big Timber chosen to host next year's annual convention by a one vote margin of 27 to 26. Officers named: President J P Clark Big Timber Secretary H C Pound Big Timber Treasurer J S Carnal Havre Trustees Peter Sanger Butte Lee Kore Kalispell J C Bebb Lewistown. Delegates toured Havre and received the city key to display in Clark's grocery.

Golden Wedding Celebration At Diamond Willow Ranch
Mr and Mrs Nicholas Tintinger celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at their Diamond Willow ranch home on Big Timber creek. Eight of their ten children and fourteen of their twenty three grandchildren attended. The gathering featured a gray dress with white veil and pink roses, many gifts, and a family dinner at two o clock with guests including Horatio Gregg Ivers on F O Maerchan and E C Hale.

Moderate cattle supply with active strong trade. Killing steers up 15 to 25c from week prior. cows and heifers 2½ to 3c higher. Stockers and feeders strong. Market notes varied prices for good to choice cattle and sheep and lambs with overall steady to strong tone and some declines in killing stock. Receipts extended for sheep and lambs. feeding supplies sold eagerly.
