William J. Oliver Dies in Boulder Log Wagon Accident
William J. Oliver, a respected East Boulder resident, died Sunday afternoon when a log wagon ahead of his load caused him to fall and be crushed by wagon wheels. Funeral held Tuesday at Patterson & Graff chapel with Rev. C. E. Tate officiating. Oliver, born May 7, 1890 in Quarry North Dakota, had lived in Allegan Michigan before moving to East Boulder in 1925 and then to the C. W. Ewan ranch in 1931. He leaves a mother, a sister in Michigan, two brothers in Michigan and one in Boulder. he was widely liked in the Boulder country.

Four Airmen Die In United Airlines Test Plane Crash Near Cheyenne
A United Airlines giant test airplane crashed six miles south of Cheyenne Wyoming during a snowstorm killing four airmen. Chief Test Pilot M T Arnold Hanley G Cohn Edward Yantis Harold Kaufman were aboard. The craft took off from Cheyenne municipal airport and exploded on impact, witnesses reported a high ascent and a second blaze.

Four Minute Quake in Helena Kills Two and Destroys Buildings
At 11 45 today Helena radio announced a four minute earthquake shock as severe as the earlier quake. A 2 p m update said the new high school building leveled two weeks ago, a two story structure near the state capitol wrecked and a brewery wrecked with possible loss of life. At 2 20 p m the Northern Pacific station was leveled and two people were killed when the brewery collapsed.

Flying Fortress Down In Army Test Flight Crash
In Dayton Ohio on October 30 the Boeing Flying Fortress crashed during an Army Air Corps test flight. One of the five aboard was killed Maj P P Hill chief of the flying branch at Wright Field died in the crash. Two others were seriously injured. The bomber was being tested ahead of strengthening the nation’s air fleet.

Mrs. Alice Coniff Crimmins aged 81 a pioneer resident of Montana since 1883 and Forsyth since 1891 died at 6 45 am Wednesday at her daughter Mrs Jack Myers home in Los Angeles Calif where she had lived the last year. Her body will be brought to Forsyth for services and burial with date pending. Born April 12 1854 in Rome New York she later married and took the surname Crimmins.
