Large Land Deal Near Broadview Sells 3000 Acres
Streeter Brothers closed one of Montana’s largest nonirrigated land sales in years. A 3000 acre tract near Broadview, part of the Hermann Lehfeldt ranch, was sold by W. Gorwin Co of Minneapolis to R C G Conover for 20 an acre. The tillable land includes a 19 room house and good buildings. Possession is given now, with threshing operations finishing. Conover has farmed in Comanche and Broadview areas, using large scale combines and plans to continue growing wheat and raising sheep.
