To Bozeman Mr and Mrs Gillman Aller and family spent Sunday in Bozeman. Blue Cross Connections officials at the local hospital say Sweet Grass Community Clinic is now an authorized Blue Cross-Blue Shield hospital member offering services at this hospital. Mrs John Ellison plans a beauty shop in the Grand Hotel room after necessary improvements.
Rev. Claire L. Harris of Billings, former pastor of the EUB church in Big Timber, will speak at the 25th anniversary rally and home coming. He will speak nightly at 8 o'clock from Oct 31 except Saturday and at Sunday services morning and afternoon. The Cornerstone opened Aug 6 in the basement will be resealed during Sunday services opening in 1975. Attendees’ names will be placed in the cornerstone with other documents.
Mrs. George E. Stickney of Billings will present a program of organ works at the vesper service in Big Timber Congregational church Sunday at 4 PM. The recital includes Pilgrim's Chorus from Tannhauser, autumn descriptive pieces, Danny Boy, and Handel's Largo.
To Billings Mrs. J. M. Schneider spent yesterday in Billings. The Schneider family visited the Max Officers. The United Council of Church Women will meet for World Community Day at the Church of God on November 3 at 2 p.m.

Big Timber and Sweet Grass county clubs observed United Nations Day Tuesday. 4-H members from Sturdy Stitchers presented UN flags to the Lions Club and JayCees, while 60 nations work toward world peace. Doris Strand and Mary Peterson announced the pledge and flag presentation at local meetings.
Funeral services for Chloe Claiborn Mahaffey were held last Thursday at the Congregational church with Rev. Wallace Bristol officiating. Pallbearers were schoolmates from Big Timber and interment followed at Mountain View. She was born January 22, 1901 in Waynsville Missouri, moved to Big Timber, studied at Drury College, married G E Mahaffey in 1920, and is survived by her husband, two sons Bill and Bob, her parents Dr. and Mrs D Claiborn, and a brother Dr Louie N Claiborn.
The Sheepherders were shut out 31-0 by Worden Red Devils as Worden built a lead with rushing touchdowns and a late passing score. Worden remains undefeated in five league games, while Big Timber, with two wins in six outings, heads to Billings for a visit to Central.
Leif Anderson of Melville and Oscar Braaten of Grey Cliff will represent the Stillwater-Sweet Grass National Farm Loan association at a four-state NFLA conference in Spokane on October 26 and 27. M. B. Yates, secretary-treasurer, said the meeting aims to form a permanent annual conference of national farm loan representatives and to establish a district advisory committee to work with the Federal Land Bank of Spokane. The Stillwater-Sweet Grass association, with 66 similar associations in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington, holds the association's capital stock in the bank.
The Cub pack meeting at the parish hall last Friday drew strong turnout from parents and Cubs with 32 present and about 40 expected this season. Den mothers listed include Mrs H H McIntyre Mrs Earl Bouse Mrs Harold O Dell Mrs Kenneth Roe Mrs Arthur Algard and Mrs E P Nelson. Montie Riter to assist. Cubmaster Paul True led the program followed by refreshments. The next pack meeting is the third Friday in November.
Mrs. Robert Johnson underwent a major operation Monday at St. Vincent's hospital in Billings. Mother and baby were released Sunday.
Gertrude Wagner and Donald James Hemphill of Rapelje married at St. Joseph's rectory in a simple morning service on October 21. Attendants were John and Mrs. Schiltz. The bride wore a brown checked suit with green accents. both families hosted a meal for about 25. The couple plans a coast honeymoon and residence nearby. Mrs. Hemphill taught at Dry Creek before marriage.
Trondheim Norway reported a night quake centered on the waterfront. A 300 foot stretch of docks disappeared into the harbor and many boats were swept away. A large vessel drifted 1,000 feet from shore while still anchored. A huge tidal wave followed, damaging boats and equipment. no injuries reported.
Dr and Mrs H C Jet and Mrs Ansa Furstenberg attended the Harpo Marx concert in Billings Tuesday night and declared the show a success. A group of girls from Park County high school took nurse's aptitude tests last Tuesday under Miss Logan at Park County High School in Livingston. Participants included Evelyn Sloan Evelyn McLane Shirley Nunley Donna Bare Doris Hoem Delores Hoem and Jean Dun can.
