Victim of Three Attacks Dies in Billings
George William White aged 53 from Hibbing Minnesota died in a Billings hospital at 7 15 am Monday after injuries from a series of assaults in Billings last week as officers hunted an unknown attacker. A later report tied White to a triangle with Leona Checkouros and Frank Burke, a former baker missing since the prior Sunday. Checkouros had earlier signed a theft complaint against Burke for dresses and coats valued at 49 dollars which she later sought to withdraw.

C S Patterson about 50, sheriff of Rosebud county since 1925, was injured when his car was struck by a train at a crossing three miles west of Forsyth at 12 50 a m Monday. Sudden Anger at Puppy Fatal for Rock Quarry Caretaker
