Car Skid on Wet Pavement Kills Hardin Driver

George Criner Executed By Hanging In Miles City
George Criner Negro was hanged at Miles City in Custer county for the murder of his companion Mrs Mary Allsup. The execution occurred at 1 14 am after a calm final statement. Criner also confessed to wounding Police Chief Sullivan and killing Sergeant Fraser in the August incident. Joseph Brodnick, 38, of Anaconda, was killed near Rowan when his speeding sedan failed to negotiate a highway curve, left the grade and rolled several yards. He was believed en route from Anaconda to visit relatives in Polson. Identification came from a driver's license.
