320 Acre Orchard Planned in Sweet Grass County
The Glass Lindsay Land Company plans a 320 acre orchard with about 25 000 fruit trees on Wheeler flat north of the city with Mr Young of Mexico Indiana driving supervision. He and Omar Appelman bought 80 acre tracts and signed a seven year contract to run the operation. The company aims to prove the county’s horticultural potential by next year.
