Services were held at Federated Church at 10:30 Thursday with Rev J Stanley Bellinger. interment in Big Timber.

Antelope Herd Likely Headed Toward Lake Basin
About 50 antelope believed from Yellowstone are moving toward Lake Basin country north of Columbus. Deputy game warden Kenneth Fallang tracked the herd and noted a visible trail through grasses. Early Melville Pioneer Marie Tronrud Dies After Long Illness
Mrs Marie Sletten Tronrud of Melville died October 6 after a two year illness at age 84. Funeral at the Lutheran church with Rev A A Holbeck conducting. pallbearers were five sons and a grandson. She was born in Foldalen Norway March 23 1854 arrived U S 1879 married 1881 in Menomonie Wis. and lived 54 years in Melville on her ranch before passing. Survivors include nine children 19 grandchildren four great grandchildren two brothers and her husband preceded her in death 13 years ago.
