Mother of Mrs Howe Dies at 82 in Melville
Harriet J. Teeples aged 82 died from cerebral apoplexy Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter Mrs Jesse Howe in Melville where she had lived the last two years. She was born January 17 1870 in Joplin Missouri. Funeral services and burial are set for Red Lodge Saturday at 2 PM.

Forest Fire Season Extended by Montana Officials
State Forester Rutledge Parker acting for the Montana board of forestry extends the fire season up to thirty days with changing conditions. Willard O Greene 72 well known former Gibson rancher died suddenly Tuesday afternoon while at a ministers conference of the Church of God in Bozeman He died of a stroke after dinner at the church Born October 11 1880 in Stony Fork North Carolina he married Mollie D Cottrell October 2 1901 in Boone North Carolina The couple lived in Bozeman for eight years Survivors include his widow a daughter Mrs Clarence Savchenko and three grandchildren of Manhattan Funeral services will be from the Church of God in Big Timber Friday at 2 p.m with interment at Mountain View.

Funeral services were held in Polson for A. A. Lamp a former Sweet Grass county rancher who died of a heart attack at home last week. Survivors include his widow six sons Laurel Lamp Morley Lamp Lloyd Lamp Elwin Lamp Clarence Lamp and Donald Lamp the latter in Alaska unable to attend. Attending from Big Timber were Mr and Mrs Ronald Halverson and Mrs W D McKenzie and Mrs Mary Lamp. Also noted were M D West and wife and Clara Soul of Portland. The Lamps owned the Walter Knudson ranch east of town and Lamp was a noted sheepman and former county commissioner.

Ministers Conclude State Church of God Conference
The ministerial conference ended its annual session at the local Church of God on Tuesday, with all state ministers present and several out of state guests. Rev. R. T. Hughes of Cleveland Tennessee spoke nightly, joined by Rev. Painter from North and South Dakota and Rev. Anton Myers of Northwest Bible College Minnesota. Meals were provided by the L.W.W.B. in the church basement.
