James Mclaughlin known as Jimmy and a longtime Livingston Linotype operator died in his room Monday morning after being found in bed. He worked at the Livingston Enterprise during summers and as a vacation printer, survived by sister Mary White and brother Tom McLaughlin, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Elks.

Tragic car crash kills three in Yellowstone and First corner
A car driven by Douglas Ruddy and carrying Harry N. Justice and Opal Carson crashed at the northwest corner of Yellowstone avenue and First street west. Justice died instantly and Mrs Justice died en route to hospital about 1:50 a.m. Ruddy survived with minor injuries and Carson was uninjured though shaken. Police and hospital reports clarified rumors about Mrs Justice’s attire and the torn dress found later with Miss Carson.

Butte Miners Get 3 Cent Pay Increase at Mines and Smelters
The Anaconda Copper Mining company will raise all daily wages by 3 cents on October 1 at the Butte mines and the A and Great Falls smelters and refineries, continuing while electrolytic copper stays at 15 cents a pound or higher.
