A Montana Trading Company notice advertises Charter Oak and Acorn stoves and Coles air tight heaters with a large stock to choose from and prices guaranteed right. It also promotes Racine and Winona carriages for fall sale, with low prices and special inducements, plus a holiday line of silverware hardware cutlery china crockery and glassware.
A shipment arrives featuring furniture, carpets, bedding, chairs, couches, china closets, tables, racks, frames, curtains, rugs, and art works. prices are reasonable. The Lumber Department offers building materials, sash and doors, glass, paints, alabastine, lime, cement, coal, and wood products for holiday needs.
Big Timber Pioneer announces a cattle wintering service offering care for 200 to 400 head. The handler guarantees against all loss except disease and will supply straw and hay as needed through April 10 at four dollars per head.
M W of A Big Timber Camp meets Saturdays at 8 30 pm in K P Hall with G M Briner and W C G R Rexnowps as clerk. The McMillan Fur and Wool Co files their Oct 12 1903 circular for reference. established a quarter century ago the firm reports extensive business and high prices. A field theft notice from Melville Montana seeks information leading to the recovery of a black stallion about 1400 pounds with Geo. Cook brand and a saddle horse branded by the owner. The notice warns taxpayers that 1903 taxes are due now and will become delinquent after November 30 1903 with a 10 percent penalty. The county treasurer in Big Timber Montana will handle payments from 9 am to 5 pm with no discretion.

W Stokes reports rise in Monarch Acetylene gas plant business. 21 light plants installed this year, including Ben Urner at Harlowton.
