Modern Enoch Arden Discovered by G Men
Davis Rowland MacDonald returns to find his wife divorced him remarried and had him declared legally dead and insurance paid. John F Sears of the FBI says the modern Enoch Arden was arrested in Pasadena on a forgery charge. MacDonald disappeared February 14 1924 in Pittsburgh and police ruled his death a suicide after finding his hat and coat on the river bank.

Wyoming Couple Killed at Rockvale Crossing
A Wyoming man and his wife Mr and Mrs Guy Murphy of Powell were killed when their car skidded onto railroad tracks at Rockvale Montana and was struck by a Northern Pacific train. Eyewitness youths Dick Leonard 16 and Raymond Wagner 17 said Mrs Murphy was driving and tried to back off as the train approached. The coroner's jury attributed the accident to icy roads.

Montana Ends General Big Game Season On Tuesday
Montana officials declare the general big game season ended Tuesday while elk season remains open in several regions and migratory waterfowl hunting continues in limited areas. Elk and bear may be hunted in designated zones until November 30 and until March 1, 1939 near Gardiner Park county. Ducks and geese seasons run through November 28, with the Fish and Game Commission retaining closing authority with advance warnings.

Founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, Cabrini aided immigrants through schools hospitals and orphanages in New York, Chicago and beyond. Born in Italy in 1850 she came to the United States in 1889 and died in Chicago.
