Christmas Seals Mailed For 1951 TB Campaign
Sweet Grass county residents will receive 1950 Christmas Seals with letters from the Sweet Grass Tuberculosis association urging support for the 1951 prevention and control drive. The forty fourth annual sale runs from November 21 to Christmas Day, sponsored by the Big Timber Womans club.

Services Held For Mrs Anna Berg
Funeral services for 98 year old Mrs Anna Berg were held at Big Timber Lutheran church with Rev Tollefson officiating. Pallbearers included Thos Anderson and Reider Anderson. Surviving children are Sophia Aareskjold Helen Lavold and Arthur Berg with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was born in Trondheim Norway Sept 10 1857 and died last week after a long life in Minnesota Melville Polson and Big Timber.

Jake D. Morris, 53, died at the Community Clinic from stomach cancer after a illness. He had been brought from the ranch to the hospital six days earlier. Funeral services are set for this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Congregational church with Rev. Clyde H. Roddy and Rev. Jack Howlett officiating.

Services Held Here For Afton Ryan
Aston J. Ryan 42 former Big Timber resident died of shock and exposure near Shepherd where he had lived four years. His body found in a ditch two miles southeast of Shepherd after a night of near zero temperatures. Sheriff Thomas said death occurred about 4 a.m. Friday. Funeral at St. Mark's Episcopal church Big Timber with Rev. Wallace Bristol officiating and burial at Mountain View. Survived by widow two daughters the parents and a sister in Butte.

All Of Lost Hunters Finally Located
Two Billings deer hunters Glen Kautz and Jim Klaskie were found after wandering between Deer creeks and the Boulder. Sheriff Walter Osborne and local volunteers located Kautz Sunday and Klaskie Monday after the missing party could not be found. All were accounted for by Monday night.

Petersens Return From Seven Month Nordic Visit
Mr and Mrs Nils Petersen return home Friday after nearly seven months in Norway and Sweden. They were joined by Ingrid Petersen of Egersund, Norway, sister of Mr Petersen. The trip began April 14 from Big Timber with an Atlantic crossing aboard the Stavangerfjord lasting 815 days. They toured Gothenburg, Sweden, with Mrs Petersens brother, enjoyed its canals and parks, and visited local farms near Kristianstad Lonneshult and Oslo before continuing home.

Escape From Wreck Near Big Timber Ends with Minor Injuries
Mr and Mrs Anne Hoem and daughter Lois escaped serious injury when their jeep collided with a loaded oil tanker about 12 miles east of Big Timber. They were hospitalized for shock cuts and bruises with Lois sustaining a fractured wrist. The accident occurred during a wind gust on a icy highway. tanker jackknifed and left the road. The driver Paul A Harris of Billings was uninjured.

N. M. Trovatten, wanted on a felony charge, has been found in Jefferson county Illinois. Return depends on the disposition of charges there. He allegedly defrauded the Moose lodge of 220 dollars for an ice maker from a non existent company and had similar schemes in Montana and elsewhere.
