Long Time Clerk of Court Bubser Dies in Townsend
Fred Bubser 72 longtime clerk of Broadwater county district court passed away at his Townsend home after an illness of a few days pneumonia listed as cause of death. Born December 25 1864 in Rockford Illinois he moved to Montana 1888 later settling in Townsend 1890. He was appointed clerk of the district court in 1897 and served by successive elections until the recent death. S. T. Holloway appointed to succeed him as clerk of court.
