President Hoover Planned Western Park Tour This Summer
President Hoover plans a summer trip of more than 6000 miles through Glacier Yellowstone Estes Yosemite and Grand Canyon parks on a western tour starting in August from the capital he will visit Minnesota St Paul Glacier Park Montana Yellowstone Wyoming Estes Colorado Yosemite California and Grand Canyon Arizona before returning to Palo Alto California. He also expects to spend weekends at his Virginia fishing camp and has tentative stops including Gettysburg and Boston during the year governors and officials invite him to enjoy Montana hospitality with plans to accommodate his party. The trip would be the most extensive presidential tour since Harding visited Alaska.

A mob in Sherman Texas burned Grayson County Court House killing George Hughes the man accused of assaulting a white woman.
