A May 10 effective order bans nearly all freight shipments by coal burning trains except foodstuffs livestock perishable goods coal coke petroleum and its products printing paper ink and medical supplies. Passenger rail service will be cut 25 percent with electric commuter trains largely exempt.

Funeral mass was held Tuesday at St Josephs Catholic Church with pallbearers Joe Spannring Harry Duffey Harry Wagner August Mathes Joseph Forewald A Ronald McDonnell. Burial Mountain View. She was born in Germany in May 1881 and came to the United States in 1907 settling in Big Timber. Survived by brother John George Neumayer of Gibson a cousin George Neumayer of Livingston and three sisters in Germany.

Funeral services for Robert Daniel Widdicombe who died at a son's home in Hardin were held at Big Timber Lutheran Church with Rev. E E Tollefson officiating. Pallbearers included Albert and Leonard Esp Emmett Overfelt James and Roy McComas. Burial followed at Mountain View. He was born October 12 1894 in Melville and lived in Montana most of his life. He worked for Cort Livestock Co in Hardin prior to illness. Survived by son Harold E. Widdicombe Hardin and brothers Joseph William Richard Widdicombe. All relatives attended.

Rausie Lou Solberg of Big Timber now attends Montana State College and has won the Danforth fellowship granting a two week visit to St. Louis and a two week camp in Michigan this summer. She is president of the MSU Home Economics club with first alternate Doris Miller of Sidney and second alternate Jean Lenham of Bozeman. The program funds development in physical mental social and religious areas through a two week camp and plant tours. All expenses are covered including travel and camps.

Four Held In Burglary Ties To Boulder Creamery Raid
Sheriff Walter Osborne and officials arrested four suspects on a first degree burglary charge in connection with the April 28 Boulder creamery robbery. George Madden and Violet Gerber of Portland Oregon and Claude Black and Patricia Downing of Spokane waived preliminaries, bonds set at 2500 each, and were remanded after arraignment. Papers stolen from the creamery safe were recovered near the Prather ranch with the suspects, arrested in Butte on April 29, implicated in the crime.
