Two Young Women Die in Denver Tragedy
A double shooting in a downtown Denver hotel killed Miss Trudie Slater 21 from Moorcroft Wyoming and Miss Gertrude Grace Schloredt 25 from Sundance Wyoming. Detectives say Schloredt shot Slater in the head then killed herself, Slater dying on arrival and Schloredt dying hours later in a hospital.

Billings Man Killed in Automobile Accident

Anaconda March 17 Frank Provost mayor of Anaconda died suddenly at his residence Tuesday of a heart attack. Born in Ghystelle Belgium March 9 1879 he came to New York in 1905 and moved to Anaconda a year later. He studied music at Brussels conservatory and played with New York orchestras. Survived by widow a son Oscar Provost assistant attorney general of Montana and a daughter Mrs John O Leary of Anaconda.
