At a re scheduled auction call for bids at the courthouse Citizens Bank and Trust Co. again had the best bid for Big Timber Rest Home bonds at 3.43 percent lower than the original 3.44. Kalman & Co. of Minneapolis and J M Crain Co. posted bids of 3.45 and 3.554524 respectively while First National Bank of Oregon offered 3.4833. Total interest on the 250000 bond issue is 72240, saving Sweet Grass county taxpayers a small amount.

Mrs Edna Heasler born July 29 1919 in Big Timber died at her Billings home Wednesday night of last week from leukemia. She married John E Heasler March 17 1950 in Billings. Funeral at American Lutheran Church officiated by Rev Gordon V Tollefson, burial Sunset Memorial Gardens Billings.

TV Directors Allocate Funds for TV Club Equipment
At a weekly meeting the Sweet Grass TV club approved 500 for Elsco Corp to upgrade reception and hired a man to check antennas to clear interference on channel 10. A financial report showed 940 on hand with 11.88 electric bill and 1142 equipment due, placing the club in the red. Mrs Tope Strobel secretary notes several users have not been contacted for the second 1963 64 fund drive. George Damasco received a membership flag for testing an antenna.

Lillis Dies in Billings Engineer Shaped Montana Waterworks
Burton C. Lillis Sr. 85 longtime Billings summer resident died Sunday after an extended illness in a Billings hospital. An Ottawa born civil engineer educated at Case Institute, he directed Billings drainage work and built Big Timber waterworks in 1934 35. He served Yellowstone County as surveyor and legislator and aided Eastern Montana college. He is survived by widow Zoe and children Burton Jr Dean Suisun Hubert Billings Leone Rule plus many grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday at Michelotti Sawyers Mortuary with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens Billings.
