Funeral services for Ole Warp a Pioneer of Sweet Grass county were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Big Timber Lutheran Church. Rev. Wm. A. Hood presided with Mrs. Ted C. Busha and Mrs. Charles Nicholson singing, organist E. Q. Overland played. Acting pallbearers were Harold Boe Toby Osen Hans Beley W. K. Amery Will Churchill Charles McDonnell. honorary pallbearers included Emil Johnson Tom Dooley Arne Grosfield Wade Nelson Elmer Arneson Anton Solberg and John Peterson. Interment followed at Mountain View.

Inter-Communication System Aids Confined Student
Lee Barker, a rheumatic fever patient in fifth grade, becomes the first user of a Lions club installed inter com system at Big Timber schools. The device, tested Monday and in full operation Tuesday, lets Lee hear class discussions and participate by pressing a front panel bar. Lions club funded the system with schools sharing only minor install and monthly costs. The setup is intended for confined students within nine blocks of the school and is not a toy.

Tetlie Elected Farm Loan Assn Head in Columbus
H Ben Tetlie of Big Timber was elected president of the Stillwater Sweetgrass National Farm Loan association at the annual meeting in the Columbus Congregational church basement Friday. Seventy seven members and visitors attended. Fred J Ellison and Gerhard Woltermann were re elected directors for three year terms. Holdover directors include Tetlie Oscar H Braaten Jake Frank and J F Kirch. C C Upton regional manager of the Federal Land Bank of Spokane spoke on farm credit supervision by the federal board and decentralization shifting authority to field offices. He noted new appraisal standards raising farm land values enabling larger loans. The Ladies Aid served dinner and the Rader brothers played music.
