Seven Teens Rescued After Snowbound Beartooth Trek
Red Lodge Montana June 22 seven teens and nine children were rescued from a snowbound trailer house after 40 hours on Beartooth pass near Yellowstone. Three men died nearby in the storm, Vernon Kaiser Richard Huckels and John P Baker.

Sweet Grass 4-H Club Council Elected Leaders
On June 12 the 4-H Club Council representing every 4-H club in Sweet Grass county was organized with two leaders and one member per club. Paul Westervelt was elected president, Mrs Bow man vice president, and Helen Vander Voort secretary treasurer. A June 21 meeting drafted and approved a constitution. The council will assist the extension office in planning yearly 4-H programs for the county.

Fishermen nearly killed as train bears down on them stake
