Death of Mrs Sigurd T Lavold in Big Timber
Mrs Sigurd T Lavold died yesterday morning after a five year illness at Big Timber hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Saturday at the Lutheran church conducted by Rev Axel Anderson. Pallbearers named. Born July 1 1887 in Randals ness Norway she came to Montana in 1909 and to Sweet Grass county in the Melville area. She married Sigurd T Lavold in 1915 and left four children Sigurd Jr Percy June and Edna. A sister Lina Pederson of Spokane with the family recently. father, two sisters and a brother in Norway.

Gullickson ruled that counties are required by law to pay 150 for the burial of honorably discharged soldiers sailors marines or army nurses and that any county resident can ensure interment is made and charged to the county.
