Funeral of Fred Browning Ends City’s Memorial Day
The funeral for Fred Browning was held last Friday and drew many friends plus Knights of Pythias and Eagles. Rev. Joseph Pope delivered the service assisted by a quartet. floral tributes and closed shops underscored the esteem for Browning. Pallbearers were J. F. Asbury, W. A. Moore, J. W. Bailey, C. A. Caulkins, W. L. Martin, and C. O. Hathaway.

Rev. Douglas Sutton Dead
The Rev. Douglas Sutton rector of the Episcopal church died suddenly at St. Luke's hospital Livingston Monday afternoon after a recent stomach trouble. Born in Birmingham England he led Livingston and nearby church work for four years and was deeply loved by parishioners. Funeral held in Livingston today.

Bids must follow Ordinance No 52 and be typewritten. Each bid requires a $250 certified bank check payable to the Mayor, forfeitable if the bidder fails to furnish a bond and sign the contract within ten days of award. The town reserves the right to reject all bids.
