Body of John Nordby Recovered by Volunteer Friends
Intimate friends of the late John Nordby uncovered his body Tuesday afternoon after a snowslide above the Boulder head. Nordby, 47, had been missing since the avalanche while searching with Roy Engle. the body was found beneath about 13 feet of snow and later brought to town for funeral services at the Lutheran church.
