The 1920 disappearance and murder of Harry Walker near Three Forks remain unsolved after two county attorneys pursued leads. Walker’s body was found in the Madison River with identifying features including a shirt laundry mark and gold dental bridge work. The double gunshot wounds to the head and missing motive point to murder for Walker’s savings and his car, with several suspects questioned but no charges filed.
George W. Wickersham returned from a ten weeks abroad criticizing British views of the United States.
