County Commissioners Proceedings May 7 1945

The board met with Kuhn Anderson and Clark plus Dick Armstrong as clerk. Claims were approved and warrants drawn for general fund, bridge, road, welfare, and poor funds. Transfers were ordered to adjust budgets as the end of the fiscal year neared. The meeting adjourned at 5 pm to resume May 8.

Sgt. Ernest Petersen Weds in England During War

Sgt. Ernest B. Petersen son of Mr and Mrs Nils T Petersen of Big Timber married Vera King in Northampton England on May 3. The ceremony was at St Edmunds church with Rev Denny officiating. Petersen served as a bombardier instructor after training in Denver and hopes to bring his bride to America once released on points.
