Rimouski Quebec May 29 The Empress of Ireland with 1387 aboard sailed from Quebec to Liverpool and sank off Father Point after a collision with the Danish collier Storstad. Only 355 saved. hundreds drowned, many in lifeboats and wreckage as rescue efforts rushed to the scene.

Yellowstone Trail Day Set For June 11 In City
The Yellowstone Trail day has been rescheduled to Thursday June 11 after a postponement due to wet roads. Dell Whitney circulated a petition urging business men to close for the event and signers pledged support. Local Baseball Team Loses Both Weekend Games
