A missing woman's body was found on a Yellowstone River sand bar near the A. M. Clark house four miles below Springdale. Coroner Graff identified the deceased with a wedding ring, and the remains were taken to Heil North Dakota for burial after a river search with J P W Evans Chief Holt and Peter Holt.

Livingston Man Shot in Hip While Being Captured
Livingston Enterprise reports Frank Whitlock was shot in the left thigh by a 32 caliber bullet during an arrest by Deputy Sheriff Clarence Gilbert yesterday at about 11 am. Whitlock, charged on a forged check for employer Cal Miller, allegedly feigned illness en route to the courthouse before attempting to flee and dodge into a car, prompting the shooting.

Honors Paid Youth By Legion Comrades

MISSOULA July 4 Burnell Liston of Missoula was killed and Jas Reynolds of Boulder Hot Springs Mont was fatally injured in a 25 mile free for all race at the fairgrounds. Reynolds had just won after passing the finish line when his front wheel hit the rear wheel of Wilbur Ziesings machine on the last lap. Liston acted as Reynolds mechanic and died from brain concussion while Reynolds suffered head injuries and was not expected to live.
