Funeral services for Kathry n Christine Griffith 76 longtime Gibson area resident were held Sunday at the Church of God with Rev. Ovida Olson officiating. Burial was in Mountain View. She died last Thursday in Billings after a liver illness. Survivors include sons Frank L. Griffith Columbus and Merle A. Griffith Vaughn and daughters W W Teeters Laurel C C Booth Torlac Cal and Al Moore Fort Steele B C Wolterman Jr pallbearers Marion Van Campen Gus Wester haus Grant Rader Earl Rader Gerhardt Wolterman Jr and others. Music by Mrs Ted C Busha and Mrs Frank Chase accompanied. She was born May 26 1867 in Toledo Ohio and lived in Greenwood MO Noble IA Stephen Minn Gibson homestead near Gib son until 1930.

Ranchers urge Route change for Mission West Boulder road
Beaver creek upper Mission and West Boulder ranchers pressed for a new Mission West Boulder road route. They asked the state highway commission to consider a path from Mission Creek east of Livingston up the creek to join the current road in the upper Mission area to ease grades. The highway commission referred the matter back to county commissioners after hearings with both sides heard. No action was taken. right of way easements and funds already secured for the present road were noted.
