Sheepmen Gather for Pacific Northwest Woolgrowers Meet

Sheepmen from six states will attend the fifth annual Pacific Northwest Woolgrowers Association meeting in Helena February 4 and 6. Delegates will hear from Montana experts on feeding, scab control, grasses and poisonous plants, with demonstrations of Angora goats and Montana wool products. Governor Toole and Mayor Edwards will welcome delegates. T. C. Power of Helena serves as president.

Big Diamond Robbery Hits Glendive Station

Minneapolis firm owner C. B. Clausen suffered a major loss in Glendive when trunks containing unmounted diamonds and mounted rings were stolen from the baggage room between 1 and 5 am. A 54 diamond tray was missed. Suspect Jerry McCarty, a prize fighter, is detained for questioning.

Memorial services for Governor Toole McKinley request

Memorial services will be held at the Congregational church next Sunday evening at 7 30 with Co C attending in uniform. Morning services will be at the usual hour. Everybody is cordially invited.
