Orphans Home Fund Seeks Donations in Helena Visit
Miss E S Dowden superintendent of the Children's Home at Helena spent days in town this week and spoke to Episcopal and Congregational congregations. She interviewed citizens who contributed to the home fund in amounts from fifty to one hundred dollars. The fund covers care and maintenance until permanent homes can be found, with an estimated cost of about one hundred dollars per child, to be raised by public charity.

Reed cattle rancher Bill Johnson lost three stacks of hay and his log cabin to a fire Saturday night begun by unknown persons. Johnson was away visiting a brother in Wyoming when the blaze started.
