The Livingston Enterprise reports the death of Rev Joseph A Barnes at Bozeman Friday morning. Born March 25 1852 in Leaballon Connecticut he served Congregational and Presbyterian churches across Montana and held leadership roles in the Montana Children Home Society and other church organizations. Survived by wife Ella M Bennett a son George E Barnes and daughters Mrs Ralph Babbitt of Livingston and Mrs CG N Arnett of Bozeman.
